Connect Program Student Management Internship - Spring 2025

Dates
March - May 2025 (Flexible). The internship is a commitment of 20 hours per week. We expect interns to be able to dedicate 4-5 hours per day, Monday to Friday within this time frame: 10 am to 6 pm GMT.
Overview
As an intern, you will work with an international team and play an important role in implementing the Connect Program. You will be involved in all aspects of our work, from solving the day-to-day challenges that shape the success of our programs and the experiences of thousands of young people, to projects that make a tangible impact on the future of our organization. You will gain professional experience in areas such as operations, communications, research, and impact assessment, and enhance your skills in cross-cultural competence, professional communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
The 10-week Alumni Internship is remote-based and intended for Soliya alumni. The internship is sponsored by The Stevens Initiative and implemented by Soliya and alumni will receive a stipend upon successful completion.
What you bring to the team:
Passion for intercultural exchange and a deep understanding of current global issues.
Excellent command and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) and Google Docs/Sheets.
Excellent English language skills in both written and verbal communication.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and contribute creatively to our dynamic team.
Your impact & contributions:
Assist in implementing several phases of the Connect Program, including the scheduling process, semester activities, and post-semester follow-up.
Maintain effective communication with current participants, providing support and addressing inquiries as instructed.
Contribute to the preparation of weekly impact reports by gathering and analyzing relevant data.
Review student input to identify and extract compelling quotes for use in reports.
Conduct research to support program improvement and enhance the implementation process.
Contribute to creating a repository of best practices and lessons learned from the program's implementation phases and work with the team to refine procedures based on this documentation.
Perform additional administrative tasks as required to ensure program efficiency and success.
