Theme-based professional development workshops introduce core concepts and tools designed to empower professionals with empathetic engagement skills.

All workshops can be delivered in a 2-hour format or an extended 4-hour version.

Communication and conflict management

Discover the constructive role conflict and tensions can play in communication situations. Gain strategies and tools to de-escalate conflict-prone situations, obtain the basics of nonviolent communication and a deeper awareness of your own emotions.

    Synthetic description of Thomas Gordon and Marshal Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication, Carl Rogers’ Person Centered Approach or Eric Berne’s Transactional Analysis, as well as key findings of neurosciences regarding conflict escalation

    Experiential and interactive group exercise to test different approaches to handle conflict situations brought up by participants

Emotional Intelligence: building empathy & acknowledging emotions

Discover the constructive role emotions can play in a communication situation if approached with empathy. The workshop builds a foundation to understand empathy as a communication value and how to cultivate, practice and promote empathy in a group setting.
