The 8-week
Connect Program internship, running from July 14 to September 5, is remote-based and intended for Soliya alumni and facilitators. Interns will receive a certificate upon successful completion and meeting of deliverables.

Overview
Join Soliya as a Connect Program Intern and play a key role in supporting our communications efforts by reviewing and reorganizing content spaces and contributing to social media planning. You’ll gain hands-on experience with content mapping, resource management, social media strategy, and global communication practices. This is a unique opportunity to build your skills in cross-cultural collaboration, professional communication, and teamwork—all while contributing to a mission-driven, international nonprofit.

What you bring to the team:

  • Interest or experience in marketing and communications, particularly in an intercultural context.

  • Experience with graphic design tools; Proficient in Canva is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for creating clear, engaging, and accessible content.

  • Research skills and curiosity to explore and synthesize information.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and basic data management tools (e.g., for mapping or organizing resources).

  • Strong time management and the ability to work independently.

  • Excitement for working in an intercultural setting.

Your impact & contributions:

  • Social Media Content Creation

    • Assist with planning engaging social media campaigns

    • Design visuals and draft captions aligned with branding guidelines

    • Identify and develop community stories and testimonials

  • Resource Mapping and Reorganization

    • Review and map key program resources

    • Support resource organization efforts to improve content accessibility

    • Create user-friendly guides for internal/external resources

  • Communications Strategy and Enhancement

    • Research effective communication practices and suggest improvements to internal and external communication.
