Overview of the role:
This volunteer position offers facilitators the chance to elevate their communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills. As a coach, you will mentor Program facilitators and facilitation trainees, gain a deeper understanding of the facilitation tools and their application, engage with diverse group dynamics, and gain insight into our coaching model, and robust support system.
This is an unpaid volunteer position.
Time Commitment
3-6 hours a week, for the duration of the program cycle you participate in. Some weekend work will be required.
Skills & Qualifications
All applicants must hold current facilitator status with Soliya and have a minimum of two semesters/rounds of co-facilitation experience with Soliya Programs within the last 2 years. In addition, all applicants should demonstrate:
Strong Facilitation Reviews from previous Soliya Coaches and Program teams;
Demonstrated solid use of and understanding of facilitation tools to deepen dialogue;
Demonstrated understanding of organizational standards, Programs, and protocols;
Strong English writing skills;
Consistent track record of participating in support systems (working with past coaches);
Ability to offer targeted feedback to support skill development and program success;
Constructive and honest communication approach;
Comprehension of facilitation needs, strengths, and growth areas;
Self-awareness and willingness to learn with and from peer facilitators.
