What have we learned?
Connection is vital: The human need to connect and belong, to understand and be understood, and to find one’s place and tribe among the local and global communities that form our world, is universally shared.
Authentic discourse is hard but necessary: Engaging with others is both an art and a science. It takes intention and practice and provides opportunities for deep understanding and collaboration.
Technology stands to play an ever-increasing role in our world: Harnessing it as a vehicle for increasing connection and authentic discourse is a collective responsibility.

Our 10,000 participants around the world this year alone have echoed the importance of fostering cooperation, empathy, and respect for all by all. Our work may have begun in 2003, but it persists in relevance, despite challenges that threaten our global unity change.
